How it works

How we work with you

90% of our clients choose virtual sessions, with on-site sessions when requested and conference or event coaching either way. Here is the rest of it, including what it costs.

Virtual first, in person when it earns the trip

Clients appreciate the scheduling and convenience of our virtual meetings. International and distributed teams feel included and engaged. Importantly, our virtual one-to-one and group meetings save travel costs.

In person happens when it is worth it — locally around Boston, or anywhere a company brings us on site for a group. If you would rather be in a room, say so on the first call and we will tell you honestly whether it changes the outcome.

The engagement, start to finish

Every engagement includes the same four stages, whether one-to-one or group, an aspiring manager or a C-suite executive.

Stage 1 of 4

A complimentary call

Thirty minutes with Laurie. What is coming up, who it is for, and what good would look like. No charge, and no obligation on either side.

The two program structures

Our most popular engagement is a small group model with accompanying one-to-one sessions for select participants. The group builds a shared language and shared skills; the one-to-ones focus on customized goals, because each person has different strengths and challenges — one participant may want to work on controlling nervousness while another works on holding attention.
