Background
Laurie earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology from Rutgers University and her graduate degree in the same field from Columbia University. She enjoyed a career as a clinical instructor at Northeastern University training graduate students.
She has completed advanced doctoral work in leadership and organizational psychology.
Laurie’s background in supportive behavior change, and her expertise and accomplishments as a speaking expert, are why her team gets results — often quickly — that add to career advancement.

Laurie has enjoyed over two hundred media experiences. Oprah and The Today Show spotlighted her as a guest expert when her books Smart Speaking and He & She Talk were published by Henry Holt, and she has been featured in over fifty podcasts and publications from Cosmopolitan to the Wall Street Journal. She hosted The Speech Queens podcast with coaches Tori Hollingworth and Dinneen Grably — in fact, she is often called the Speech Queen.
