Who we help
Communication coaching for HR and L&D teams
For the people who choose coaching for other people — and who then have to show what it changed.

Laurie reads every inquiry personally and generally replies within one business day.
Communication coaching for HR and L&D teams is a different decision from coaching chosen by the person being coached. You are working to a budget somebody else approved, against a need somebody else described, and you will be asked afterwards what changed. That shapes everything below: published prices so you can scope before you ask, goals written down at the start so there is something to measure against, and three formats rather than one, because a cohort of forty and a single vice-president are not the same problem.
Most of our work arrives this way. Laurie’s introductions come from inside HR, from learning and development, and from leadership coaches who do adjacent work and hand over the communication piece. Around nine in ten sessions run over Zoom and our clients are worldwide, so a distributed team is the normal case rather than the awkward one.
When HR and L&D teams usually call us
- A 360 has come back, and communication is the thing standing between a high-potential person and the next role.
- A leader is moving into a bigger job, and the way they present has to move with it.
- Something significant is in the calendar — a town hall, a board meeting, an investor day — and one person is carrying it.
- A presentation went badly enough that somebody senior noticed, and now you are being asked to fix it.
- A whole function has to present better, and coaching them one at a time would take a year.
- The organization wants the capability in-house rather than bringing in sessions indefinitely.
The three shapes this takes
A group program runs as three to six ninety-minute sessions for a team or cohort, priced by the day — a half day is $2,900 and a full day $5,900, quoted per coach so a large group gets properly staffed rather than squeezed. Presentation skills coaching is the usual starting point.
One-to-one coaching for a single leader begins with a complimentary consultation and an assessment, then ten to twenty sessions with feedback loops between them. The corporate rate is $475 hourly; a twenty-hour package is $9,500. How an engagement runs sets out both structures in full, along with what happens when those numbers are a problem.
A certificate program trains your own people to coach. That is the third option, and for organizations at any scale it is usually the cheapest one over three years.
Certifying your own people
The Train the Presentation Coach Certificate Program is one of the few programs of its kind: six modules across three months, ending in a credential, aimed squarely at HR and L&D professionals who already sit closest to the leaders who need this. It teaches the same Presence26™ System our own coaches work from.
A growing biotech company did exactly this for its entire human resources team, and the program is paying off in clearer communication and in business results — that engagement is written up in full among the client stories. If you want to know whether your team is eligible, that is what the first conversation is for.
