Areas we serve
Where we work
Everywhere there is a camera, and these five metros more often than anywhere else.

The honest answer to “where are you based?” is that around nine in ten of our sessions happen on video and our clients are worldwide. There is no office to visit and no address on this website, because there is not one to publish. Coaching is a conversation, and it turns out to survive a screen better than almost anything else in professional life does.
The five pages below exist because these are the markets the work concentrates in, and because the communication problems in them are genuinely different from one another — a biotech readout in Boston and an association plenary in Washington are not the same assignment. Boston is the exception to everything above: it is where this practice was built, several of the team are still there, and in-person is a normal option rather than a favor.
Anywhere else, in-person happens when a company brings us out to them, which is a reasonable thing to want and is quoted openly. See how an engagement runs for the structures and the prices.
The five metros
Boston
Home. Laurie built the practice here, several of the team are still here, and the life-sciences corridor is where a lot of the work has come from.
New York
Finance, media and the professional-services firms that sell to both. Laurie coaches New York clients regularly and travels in for the work that warrants a room.
Chicago
A headquarters city with a lot of regional leadership in it — where the person you most need to convince is frequently not in the room.
Los Angeles
On-camera work, interviews and stage time — for leaders in a market where an audience can tell within seconds whether somebody is comfortable being filmed.
Washington DC
Associations, membership bodies, research and advocacy organizations — where a room mixes deep experts with people who need the one-paragraph version.
Wherever your team actually is
Thirty complimentary minutes with Laurie. If your people are spread across four time zones, say so — that is the normal case here rather than the complicated one.
Laurie reads every inquiry personally and generally replies within one business day.
